Kovai Moto Tribe’s Unforgettable Ride to Kolli Hills: An Adventurous Journey with 70 Hairpin Bends, Waterfalls, and Sunrises
There’s nothing quite like the thrill of a motorcycle ride through the mountains, and our recent trip to Kolli Hills is proof of that. The Kovai Moto Tribe embarked on an epic ride from different corners of Tamil Nadu, converging for an unforgettable adventure through nature, twists, and turns.
Our group consisted of 9 riders from Coimbatore and 4 from Chennai, and we met near Karavalli, the gateway to the mesmerizing Kolli Hills. With excitement in the air, we began our ascent, conquering the legendary 70 hairpin bends that challenged our riding skills and pushed us to the limits. Each bend revealed more of the stunning landscape, fueling our excitement for what was to come.
Upon reaching the top, we checked into our hotels and took some time to recharge before setting out on our next adventure: trekking to the stunning Aagaya Gangai Waterfall. The 1500 steps leading to the waterfall were no easy feat, but the breathtaking beauty of the waterfall made every step worth it. Surrounded by nature, the rush of the water and the serenity of the environment created memories that will stay with us forever.
After a rewarding trek, we returned to the resort to relax and unwind. The night was filled with laughter, as we gathered around the campfire, sharing stories, discussing the ride, and enjoying a delicious dinner. The camaraderie and the bond between the riders were strengthened as we reflected on the day’s adventure.
The next morning, we woke up early to witness the breathtaking beauty of the Pulianchozhai sunrise viewpoint. As the sun slowly rose over the hills, casting a golden hue over the horizon, we knew we were experiencing something magical. The cool breeze, the sound of nature, and the collective awe of the group made this moment truly special.
After soaking in the sunrise and taking countless photos, we returned to the resort for breakfast. With full stomachs and full hearts, we checked out and made our way to the Kolli Paavai Temple, where we spent some time exploring the local culture and indulging in a bit of shopping.
As the day came to a close, we began our ride back to Coimbatore and Chennai, each of us carrying with us memories of an unforgettable weekend filled with adventure, camaraderie, and the thrill of the open road.
