The Chennai Chapter (The Foundation)
I, Sankar – a dedicated member of the Roaring Riders Club Chennai, a specialized crew for Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles. That club was about brotherhood, shared experience, and hitting the open road with people who just get it.
When I relocated from Chennai to Coimbatore, the change was tough. The roads were great, but the vibe was missing.
I was badly missing my ride mates, the club I belonged to, and all the experiences we shared. Riding alone just wasn’t the same.
Finding the Vibe in Kovai (Multi-Brand Focus)
I tried to find a similar club in Coimbatore, but something felt off. I realized that this new chapter needed to be different: it needed to be about the rider and the ride, not just the machine. I decided to form a circle that welcomed riders of all brands who shared the same taste, standards, and pure passion for two wheels.
So, I decided to start my own circle. It began small, just a few bikes of various makes and a shared mission to explore Kovai.
The Birth of Kovai Moto Tribe!
What started as a small, multi-brand group quickly grew, and it grew autonomously! People were drawn in because of:
- The Vibe: An easygoing, welcoming atmosphere, no matter what you ride
- High Standards: Commitment to safety and quality riding
- Openness & Transparency: No politics, just clear, honest fun
- The Destinations: Choosing memorable places to ride and enjoy the moment
That small circle blossomed into something special: Kovai Moto Tribe!
Our Ethos: Casual Off-Bike, Serious On-Bike
Yes, we keep things super casual when we’re parked up, having a tea, or just hanging out. But when the stand goes up and the engine roars, we have two non-negotiables:
- Road Safety & Ride Standards: We don’t compromise. Ever. Our rides are planned and executed with safety first.
- Leave No Trace: Our motto, plain and simple. We ensure the places we visit are left as clean, or cleaner, than we found them. We respect the environment and the communities we ride through.
That’s us! A multi-brand tribe born out of passion, defined by standards, and always ready for the next adventure.
